The study of psychedelics holds tremendous promise to help those with pain and mood disorders in a way that is not currently available. With philanthropic support, the UCLA PSI can expand the understanding of the effects of psychedelic compounds on the body and their potential as therapeutics for pain and mental disorders. Funding for the emerging field of psychedelic science will advance scientific studies that can lead to therapies to promote greater health and well-being.
